Spraylat International's Protectapeel® is a water-based protective coating that is applied by airless spray or roller and dries to form a strong, durable coating that can protect internally or externally for up to 12 months.
Protectapeel® is ideal for surface protection against damage such as flash rusting, abrasion, weld spatter, salt water, acid rain and weathering. However, more recently Protectapeel® is rapidly being used within the aerospace sector for surface protection during the chemical milling process on aircraft fuselages and fan blades.
Spraylat says it is the first company in the world to introduce a full range of water-based maskants for chemical milling. The maskants are capable of working in all known etchants including; hydroflouric, hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide.
