The impressive redevelopment project at 19-35 Baker Street London is a new mixed-use scheme, which will provide affordable homes, offices and retail space.
Construction started in 2022 with the demolition of existing buildings. As the build progressed the project really started to take shape, however with any construction project, time and budget were of the essence.
Our customer from Charter Facades Limited got in touch to discuss the need for a protective coating, that could prevent surface damage to the glass and aluminium punch windows and curtain wall system they were installing.
Protectapeel temporary protective coating has been used to protect the 3,000m² of glass that has already been installed onto the project. Protectapeel will protect the surfaces from construction site damage until its completion date (late 2024). When required the protective coating will be removed by hand peeling, taking all site dirt with it leaving clean undamaged surfaces ready for handover.
