There is a critical need for rigorous fire safety measures within the construction industry. This is why some of our protective coatings are now fire-rated as standard!
Once developed, Protectapeel was tested to UK standards by Warrington Fire. The test measures how far a flame will travel over a coated surface and produces a fire rating of Class 1,2,3 or 4. The ratings are based on the lowest flame spread, with Class 1 being the best rating.
We are incredibly proud that Protectapeel achieved Class 1 and 2 BS 476 Pt 7 fire rating!
