The protection of mild steel from rusting is a key requirement for many of our customers. Flash rusting refers to the rapid onset of rust on a metal surface and can begin within minutes, we are happy to get zero flash rust with our Protectapeel® Anti-Rust, ensuring metals are protected completely from the outset.
The coating has been tested against the worst conditions, such as high humidity and external elements for extended periods. Protectapeel® Anti-Rust was used on the Queen Elizabeth Carriers to protect the modules as they were transported by barge to their assembly point at Rosyth in Scotland.
