Walking For A World Without Dementia

Our very own Kerry Willmott, with her mum (Pat) and sister (Andrea) took part in the Alzheimer's Society Memory Walk on Saturday 20th March.

Memory Walk is a sponsored walk to raise money to defeat dementia. Kerry and her family signed up for the Memory Walk in honour of their wonderful dad and dear husband, Tony.

The ladies took off through Geddington and walked an impressive 6 miles, in 2 hours and 20 minutes. Also along for the walk were Bertie, Sky and Lucy in their rather fetching bandanas!

Kerry’s younger sister Leigh who lives in Perth, Australia was sent her own Memory Walk T-Shirt so she could also feel part of the day.

We would like to say a very big well done to Kerry, Pat, and Andrea (and the dogs!) . . . this is a great achievement for a wonderful cause, and you should all be extremely proud.

Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading dementia charity, which funds research to find a cure and support people living with dementia. If you would like to help achieve their vision - a world without dementia, please donate here.
