   Protectapeel Deckstrip is a protective coating applied to many surfaces including gel coat, paintwork, hulls, non skid decks, glass and laguered bulkheads and work surfaces and sanitary ware during the construction process. The unique waterborne coating dries to form a skintight plastic film which is extremely tough and weather resistant for several months resisting foot traffic, overspray , abrasion caused by equipment and toolboxes and spillage. A fact well recognised over the past 25 years by major boatbuilders including Fairline, Princess, Azimut, and Hatteras Simply applied by spray or roller the plastic film can be stripped away prior to handover. The Protectapeel coatings are also used for transport protection and “mothballing” of moulds stored outside. Teakguard is a protective temporary coating suitable for most dense quality teak decks.
