Peelable coatings are used as a prevention to the pollution of a painted surface . The coatings are waterborne and will not damage the underneath painted surface but will offer many months protection in an “aggressive” environment resisting solvents, salt, graffiti and are of course weather resistant. The coatings are simply stripped away after use and can be disposed of as non hazardous standard landfill .The old method of cleaning involved the application of copious quantities of aggressive cleaning chemicals which have to be applied by specialists ,pollute the atmosphere and ultimately require specialist and expensive disposal. Spraylat have also developed a peelable coating which is designed to etch into the surface and dissolve the contaminants which are removed upon the film being peeled away (see images of grey pollutant being removed to expose the underneath blue paint) Our range of coatings are used in the rail industry , equipment hire anti-graffiti and for stone and masonry cleaning See also camouflage and paint protection
